Glamping: Going Wild With Style

The long and winding road, that is a song but more importantly
it is the Road To The Sun in Glacier National Park.
I just drove one of the most amazing drives.
Pure and sheer beauty at ever turn.

My Apron Travels is on the road.
Even though I am visiting Hip and Fresh Bed and Breakfasts
I just had to add GLAMPING while I was in Montana
Under Canvas Glacier was the perfect spot ..
Just a 7 miles outside of West Glacier, surrounded by

peaks that reach the sky, rivers so clear you can count
the rock beds and animals roaming freely.

After driving for 12 hours- Glamping was just what I needed.
No Luggage to unpack, no WIFi to distract, just shear beauty.
Glamping is getting to enjoy nature and the idea of camping
without having to pack everything from your house to sleep under the stars.
Some say it is glamourous camping
but having experienced it I say it
is getting to be outside with a few more comforts and alot less lugging of stuff.

You know your Glamping when you arrive
at this pristine grounds just off the Highway
Greeted by the coolest, hippest staff . They check you
in and give you a lift  to your lodging tent in a golf cart.

The Tents and Tipis are set up around this pristine forest.
The beds are set up with sleeping bags and cots in Tipis
to comfy king sized beds in Tents
 and even a Tree house.

The comfort of a bathroom, hot shower and fresh towels
were a welcome treat after a long day of travel.
I can honestly say- the showers were amazing.
I even enjoyed a hot shower while having a Cold Beer..

A crackling community fire awaits you after dinner in town.
NO S'Mores Here - We are in Bear Country-
As I walk back to the cabin the glow of the lanterns in each
campsite was stunning againt the blue hue of the mountains and
the millions of twinkling stars..
I am not exaggerating - I think more like 2 million.

The evening is quiet, just the sound of nature.
A distant sound of trains sends a melody through
the air.
Even though it is close to the town
you seem miles away, tucked in a little corner
of heaven.

BEST NIGHT SLEEP EVER

I am a GLAMPER for Life
